Set your own prices
Riders see every car that can take their ride with its driver’s fare, so your prices are what they choose between.
Per km
A price in rupees for each km, used for every ride you have no fixed fare for.
Fares between regions
A fixed fare from one region to another, such as SSR Airport to the North. A fixed fare always comes first.
Same fare both ways
Set a fare once for both directions, or give each direction its own.

Every vehicle you add keeps its own prices, class, seats and bags.

A request arrives
The fare in rupees and in the rider’s currency, the route, the people and bags. Slide to accept.

Open directions, message or call the rider, and slide when you arrive.

Type the rider’s four digits. The ride starts only with the right code.

Drive to the drop-off
The route is on the map with directions one tap away. Slide to end the ride.

Collect the fare
Cash or MCB Juice, straight to you. Slide when it is paid.

Rides booked ahead sit in a list by day, with the time, the route and the fare. Start a ride from the list when it is time, or give a booking back if you cannot make it.
Your earnings show the week in a chart, today’s takings and trips, and every recent ride with its fare.
Earn badges when riders praise your driving.
Riders see your badges on your driver card once you take their ride.

How to apply
Have your PSV licence, national ID card and driving licence with you, and your car nearby for a photo of its plate.
Get alé and sign in with your email.
Confirm your mobile number with the code we send on WhatsApp.
Open You, then Drive with alé.
Add a profile photo, your national ID card and driving licence, front and back, and your PSV licence.
Add your car with a photo of its number plate.
Set your prices and slide to send your application. The alé team reviews it, and the app shows where it is.

Do I need a PSV licence to drive with alé?
Yes. Your application includes your PSV licence, with your national ID card and driving licence, and the alé team reviews every application before you can take rides.
Who sets my prices?
You do. Set a price per km, fixed fares between regions, or both, for each of your vehicles. Riders see your fare before they book.
How do I get paid?
Riders pay you the fare at the end of each ride, in cash or with MCB Juice. alé never handles the payment.
Does alé take a commission?
No. alé takes no commission on your fares. The fare the rider pays is paid to you directly.
Can I add more than one vehicle?
Yes. Each vehicle has its own class, seats, bags and prices.
